Snowy Owl by Kilian Martinez

I´m going to write about the Snowy Owl. They live in the Arctic. Because there are no trees in polar regions they make their nests on mound, on the ground or on rocks.

They are between 52 and 71 cm long and weigh betwen 1,6 and 3 k.They are well-adapted to life in the  Arctic.

Adult males are white and females are white with brown marks.

Snowy Owls eat rodents and birds. They need to eat between seven to twelve prey every day.

They lay between 5 and 14 eggs. The babies are born about five weeks later.

In summer, they live in the Arctic, but in Winter time, they fly to Canada.
